I lived between Orlando and Sanford, albeit in the 70s. Back then, no one messed with the Sanford police. I know things are different there now, but things appear tenser right now here in Memphis than they have in a long while.
Also then as you know while Orange is the next county south from Seminole and Seminole is a pretty small county, it is not like people in Orlando identify with Sanford. They might view Maitland and even places north as their area, but Sanford, that would be pretty recent. Orlando is in the middle of Orange County, Sanford and the courthouse there is on the northern edge of Seminole County.
How do things seem tenser in Memphis? I really can’t tell much of a difference.
