Sometimes you’ve got to stand with whoever’s left standing. A righteous deed is a righteous deed.
Card’s a decent fellow, despite his having mysteriously remained a Democrat. He lives not all that far from me. Is he Christian? No, not in my estimation, but he’s not hostile to Christians. He supports many of the things we support, for the same reasons.
He’s an ally in this, an increasingly rare thing. Dismissing any public figure willing to make a stand is very shortsighted.
“Dismissing any public figure willing to make a stand is very shortsighted.”
Dismissing him because he is a public figure is all the more necessary, since to “stand with him” in a public manner is to make it seem as if Mormonism is equal to Christianity. It gives his religion and everything else he stands for more credibility than it deserves. The reality is, Mormonism is every bit as Satanic as the sin of homosexuality.
