Can anyone tell us what the expert is being asked?
He is being questioned by West about his credentials.
Evidence in plastic bags..vs. paper.
Paper being standard practice for how long...
The witness was asked about storage of forensic samples.
Apparently, the samples taken after TM was shot were put into plastic bags. The materials were wet and the plastic bags would not allow the samples to dry out. Instead, any bacteria and molds etc. on the wet samples will destroy any organic materials, DNA etc.
He stated that any samples should be put into paper bags so they can dry out and not rot and decay.
So far it's only his credentials and background. West is questioning. Has published 88 articles. 13 book chapters and 4 books
Discussion of packaging. Must be in paper. Well known for thirty years
Still talking about his background in his ME field. DW asking about any books or articles published by DiMaio. DeMaio saying “forensic pathology and one on gunshot wounds and a handbook on forensic patholgy and one on excited delerium syndrome”. Wife is a forensic nurse (I think that’s what he said).
