They should be. That’s why whenever you travel somewhere where you wish not to have a permanent record, turn off phone and remove battery.
Verizon offered the gps/location for a phone on your contract for an extra $9.99/month. (recommended to find your kid) When I called Verizon to get a gps location of a STOLEN phone on my contract, they told me I had to get a Court Order.
