My take is, she’s genuinely interested in this legal technology, in a professional sense, and she’s keenly aware that she could be part of “legal history” for allowing it, or not. So she’d LIKE to do the “right thing”, however she sees it.

Of course, she may STILL rule it inadmissable, since her TENDENCY is to help the persecution.

Pretty gutsy. I will go ahead and agree. This thing is getting a fair hearing and in the future, it will be more and more of an issue.

I hope you’re right! I would love to see her want to do the right thing. If she sides with the defense on this, it will be one of few times she has since this trial started. I never knew a judge could get away with such biased behavior as she has in this case.
