If it is a very low level of thc, I’m not sure I’d use it. It seems like it could backfire, because it could be made to appear as if the defense is basing their case on that rather than on the line of witnesses saying the voice is Zimmerman’s, the dad saying he couldn’t tell, the pre-shot bleeding all being done by Zimmerman, the witness who saw Martin on top, and the doc verifying that Martin was on top and that blows to the head could kill you.

THC seems at best to say Martin might have had a slight tendency to perhaps be belligerent, something we ALREADY know by the above facts, i.e., that he was beating the crap out of Zimmerman.

On the other hand, the prosecution could then focus on the THC and say the defense was building to that in order to prove that Zimmerman wasn’t “pursuing”, so therefore “the pursuit” is the heart of their case, and the defense is thereby proving it.

Re; judges instructions to jury, does she really think they won’t discuss the case, watch on TV, research on pc etc?
Honest question. Not knowledgeable on trials.

I think the tox report would burn whoever touches it first. Getting it admissible was good enough for MOM’s intentions without having to actually admit it.

It served as a warning to St. Skittles the Senior when he took the stand. I’ve said it before: It’s a pity St. Skittles the Senior had to watch all that trial presentation (unlike the sequestered witnesses), otherwise he never would have known the tox became admissible and Crump got deposed.

I guess watching the testimony previous to his had a negative impact, no? He got to watch the trial because of the “family of the victim” loophole, and it appears OMara managed to find a way to twist it to his advantage. I don’t ever want to play Chess with that guy. West, either.
