Yep, Rick’s embarrassed so many its a wonderment his re-elections margins went up each election.
Its the folks like RonPaul, Brenda and Kaye Bailey that are the embarrassment.

They are very good friends. Have been for many years. I am just relieved to not have Perry as my Gov any longer. He has embarrassed us long enough.

I’m not embarrassed. Thank God for Rick Perry.
Born and raised Texan.

Perry’s stature??? Did you mean to say that?

Did you hear the recent report about how many TX women contracted HPV and are now sterile because of it? Stunning.

Read it again.
Or I’ll translate: the Perry-haters, for whom NOBODY is perfect enough except Obama, more than likely stayed home Nov., not voting for Romney.
There used to be a canon: If you don’t vote, you can’t bitch. Instead we have stay-at-homers bragging about it and lecturing you if you DID go vote.

HPV is double bad.
Perry took a lot of undeserved heat over Gardisil. The number of people it can save is uncountable

You are correct. All the anti-Perry hysteria lies were generated by the Left and picked up by gullible Conservatives. Perry has more conservative in his big toes than Romney has in his whole body, yet Perry was still spat on by so-called conservatives.
Do you conveniently pretend that the corridor stuff, the forced Gadrasil vaccinations, the support of the pro-abortion, pro-gay marriage, and pro-gun control Rudy Giuliani for President in 2008, the pro-guest worker stuff, etc. never happened?
Rick Perry campaigned for the most liberal Republican in 2008, a guy who was more liberal than Romney.

Then let the people decide, rather than let government be the solution.

I tend to avoid it because they run far too much celebrity smut and white trash sleaze as "news", or they focus on trials affecting a small number of people and try to tell us that some freak who killed her boyfriend in a shower is somehow news we should care about. And don't get me started on Shep "Captain Mascara" Smith and his love of car chases.
I would find it amusing when the Fox and Friends airheads claim something is incredibly offensive, and then spend the next several minutes discussing it, if they weren't seriously trying to turn white trash or celebrity sleaze into news. Even now, on the Fox News website, one need only scroll down a bit before seeing the sleaze masquerading as news.

I quit watching Fox years ago. Now I watch none of them.

Rather hard to believe that even on FR, people have forgotten all the bad about Perry as a national candidate.

If a FReeper said he or she was going to campaign for an openly pro-abortion, pro-gay marriage, pro-gun control candidate, there would be really loud calls to ban them for being liberals. There would not be anybody defending them.
Rick Perry did it in 2008, and people make excuses for it.
