To tell you the truth, I am sick and damned tired of hearing anything that starts with “First black (anything).” Who the hell cares? “What difference does it make at this point?”

Agreed. They have meet the standards for crew. That is the important part. Their color is irrelevant. I would have no qualms riding as a passenger with them.

I'm surprised no one here has yet compared and contrasted this flight and a recent one piloted by male Koreans "landing" at San Francisco.

The female Americans must have successfully gotten the plane back down as we haven't read about their landing.
