To tell you the truth, I am sick and damned tired of hearing anything that starts with “First black (anything).”

Why is it something to celebrate when a black finally masters some job or task that has been routine for others for decades and decades?

Well - we all know why.

But in the Bizarro States of 21st Century America it's not acceptable to ask the question or to answer it.

That’s what I ask myself. After white males have blazed the path, doing things when it was still risky and unknown (like the Wright brothers at Kitty Hawk, Lindbergh flying across the Atlantic, the astronauts on the moon, in bathyscopes to the ocean abysses, etc), what is the great advance that someone with different melanin content does it later?

because of people with the mentality you present. Unfortunately I remember having to use “Colored only” facilities hoping all people saw me as a person and not just Black. Yes whites have been doing thes things for years and thats wonderful. Most Black don’t sit around saying their sick and tired of hearing about the things Whites do with such anger makes me think some hate the progress or resent it. The internet is a wonderful tool if it offends we I can skip it.
