He was caught between a rock and a hard place. He left Wilmington to come here where the living’s real nice.
In fact, I asked a couple of other meeting attendees where the nicest place in the world was to live....in fact, ask anyone living here where the nicest place in the world is to live....the meeting attendees said “Lewes, Delaware”.
So okay, they needed a bit of tweaking. I asked them if they could maybe include Georgetown Delaware and they said sure.
I chanced to ask the ladies at the bank where I was signing away my life for the house....I asked them too where was the nicest place in the world to live.
The VP of the bank (Yes indeed I got a VP, such is my importance) shrugged and said, after a pause and some thought, “I can’t imagine living anywhere else but here.”
This county is growing bejeesus because the world is catching on to this little paradise on the coast.
It’s dolts like the New Jersey boobs moving down this way and that Wilmington guy that don’t want to admit their ideas didn’t work, that they must endure living with the heathens in the south.

Great post..speaking of heathens have you seen the TV show “Duck Dynasty”? I just saw it.
The TV geniuses told the actors ( and owner of the Duck Dynasty) not to show guns and the praying to God this season, people were complaining.
They told them”Then we won’t do the show.”
TV land relented as its got great ratings. HA.HA.
the guns are there and the praying goes on at dinnertime.
