The Administration and the media are afraid of and react to, every other race and religion, but Christianity. Christians are those nice people who do not get ugly. Christians are those nice people who can be called anything and let it go. They can take our Bibles, our prayers and we obey. Thus, we are considered weak and not all that smart. Christians ‘turn the other cheek’ and they know it.
The Church should have spoken out a long before this. The Church is pretty much silent on what is going on.

The SSU administration, in the person of President Ruben Arminana, apologized for the completely unauthorized actions of one individual, and has issued more than one press statement to that effect. I have to admit I think Arminana should also fire the idiot who told the student to take off the cross. However, they have disowned the action, and I doubt anything like this will happen with SSU again.
