President George W. Bush’s 67th birthday passed quietly on Friday, but he did receive his share of well wishes on Twitter, along with one encouraging note from the folks at National Review. Despite continuing to shoulder the blame for just about every failure of the current administration, Bush currently enjoys a higher approval rating than President Obama.

Yes... GOOD.
Horse Shiite. I know of no conservatives who stayed home. While it is true support for Romney was tepid at best, but there is no way I believe conservatives stayed home in the numbers oft stated here..
Its working out great for him.
us not so good. Obama is 'compassionate conservationism' in overdrive.
Miss me yet?
I knew that nothing like the Boston bombing would ever happen under him.
Same as with Reagan.
I slept easy under that man's term.
I had much to disagree with under Bush, but I know for a fact he would never sell the US out.
Under Obama, I'm looking under my bed every night.
Higher among whom???
And prepare the way for Jeb, another amnesty supporter.
All you Bushes are Rinos. Your Daddy swore "read my lips" and then raised taxes. Bush W. increased medicare entitlements and now is a go for the Senate immigration bill. Jeb Bush is same ole and same ole as brother and father.
"Stay outta the Bushes", as Jesse Jackson would say. Can't believe I'm quoting that race-baiter, but he has a point. No more Bushs. We need fresh blood. The only possible presidential candidate I see right now is Michele Bachman. As much as I would love for Sarah Palin to be our president, she just has too much baggage layed upon her by the mainstream media.
I remember MSM with their polls slamming Bush, one after the other. You don’t see that with 0bama.
And Dick Cheney came with Bush, not Joe Biden, Valerie Jarrett, Hillary Clinton and John Kerry, etc , etc, etc!
I feel the same way you do as far as feeling safer under President Bush. Every president has done some good things and some bad and you can’t please all the people all the time. Having said that, obummer, hasn’t done one good thing for this country, but he is the exception. At least GWB was a decent man - unlike the current resident of the WH. I’d vote for him again in a heart beat if he ran against the zero.
Before we pat this man, or his father, on the back an examination of how much high-spending, growth of government and the inherent loss of freedom took place.
Neither man was a conservative, but was a proponent of a New World Order that dictates that America declines into a state that makes it easy to fold it into such an insidious scheme.
This being said, acknowledgement of the unfortunate elevation to the presidency of FDR, Truman, Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon, Carter and finally the worst specimen of human being: Barack Hussein Obama!
May God guide this nation back to a path that is honorable; one that ensures the shrinking of this onerous, evil, overbearing central socialist government. Additionally the states need to take a meat axe to their bloated bureaucracies as well.
“The only possible presidential candidate I see right now is Michele Bachman. As much as I would love for Sarah Palin to be our president, she just has too much baggage layed upon her by the mainstream media.’......
Really doesn’t make much difference who runs against the demodummies, the libs, with the help of the butt kissing media will trash anyone who runs agains’t them. You can take that to the bank!
Hitler might get a higher approval rating than Obama . Bush was a tool of __________ ( name your poison ) ...and so was his daddy .
I’m with you !
IMHO 2004 was won cause alot of us wouldnt stop praying.
ya know a couple of years ago i would have said you are crazy.. after the last two years i now know sadly you are right. NWO.

Well said. You also mentioned the “unfortunate” elevation to the presidency of FDR, Johnson, O’Bummer etc. Those liberals were elevated because their opponents have so often been Bush-style RINOs who think that spending money in a compassionate way is smarter to win elections than those troglodyte Tea Partiers.
No! The Dems say, OK, I’ll match your compassionate bid and triple it! The voters come rushing out for the goodies.
