Without knowing the exact times and altitudes along with the vertical speeds it's hard to say. But seeing that in one minute the range was 1380fpm down, I would say that it looked like a Stuka approach to the casual observer! I sure hate to see all of the other guesstimates as to the cause. I am open to many but, initially, it looks like pilot error.
