If I were you folks, I would wait for Boeings and the Asiana flight crew and flight attendents to be debriefed on description of the incident. That fire in the cabin is suspect....although the center fuel tank could have ruptured on the hard landing. What bothers me is the blowout of the aft pressure bulkhead in rearward fashion. Strange!!! Conclusions are a long way off!!! Passengers also, will have valuable verbal input as to what occurred in the interior cabin and aircraft exterior. Time to remain calm & research. The truth will surface as it always does in most instances.
NTSB news conference from DC coming up -— how soon before we get the pic of Obama in the sit room?
Multiple eyewitnesses saying it clipped the seawall, then pancaked.
You can plainly see the fire started from the starboard engine on the ground. Nothing blew up. No bombs. No crazies.
Oh, really?? Nothing to see here folks, move along now??
It is normal to speculate on damned near everything, including sunrise (I'll take the over on that one).
FR is not a court of law, discussing it here does not affect any investigation, suit, trial, inquest, tribunal, prosecution, court martial, or general cussing out.
There is nothing suspect about a post-crash fire. For you to suggest otherwise is to engage in the same activity you are warning against (not that there is anything wrong with that).
As to crew and passengers having valuable verbal input...yeah some will. But many others might as well be describing what happens when you hit a wasp nest with a bat...you won't learn much but it will be entertaining as hell.
Come on...No fun in that. I enjoy seeing people doing the big chicken and going hysterical.
