Man, that’s strange. I wonder if the turbine blades failed on impact and caused the rest of the engine to disintegrate, but it was at a low power setting and that seems unlikely. I don’t get it. But there are a whole bunch of small pieces out there.
That kind of engine disintegration would be catastrophic, but I have no experience in that area. Most likely that’s part of the fuselage which hit the jetty/runway and broke into debris. There’s pics/film of a large piece just in front of the jetty rocks... I just don’t see another engine anywhere, and I KNOW they have 2. Heh.
