“Mel, I have linked this to the article...can you fill in the blanks on who this cleric is? I know he’s important but the translation is too choppy for me to nail down what happened....when you get time that is...thanks”

Hassan is from the Fundamentalist Party. They don’t know how dirty the word “Fundamentalist” is!

He’s one of the rats who are jumping the sinking ship, knowing that the end of the MB and Islamist parties coalition is coming to a bloody end. He says that before Rabaa and Nahda happened he objected to and disagreed with the sit-in decision. I say that he failed to explain why he was there for over a month.

You’ll see a lot of maneuvering to avoid life sentences and executions when they’re held accountable by the law.

CW, there’s nothing wrong with your understanding of what’s in the article, it’s written so badly that we may think the reporter is a graduate of one of OUR public screwls!!

Thanks for taking the time on that...there IS trouble in the rank and file that's growing...too many differing opinions of where the MB should or not yield....or not at all......not to mention the other terrorist groups at Rabba and Nahda starting now to rumble with each other.

You're right...the big boys in the MBS will do and say now whatever is necessary to avoid prison and save “their place” in the politics of Egypt, regardless of what level of influence they had or think possible in the future.

As for my understanding..thanks...I thought it was the translation....always difficult to find a good translation that doesn't jumble the verbiage...added to it their own twisted vocabulary....sheesh!

In what could be considered 'a brazen move', Interior Minister Mohamed Ibrahim has urged human rights organizations 'to go to sit-ins' at Rabea al-Adaweya and Nahda Square to confirm that police do not use excessive force and uphold legal and international standards in dispersing protests, Al-Ahram reported Sunday. ........ Ibrahim met with representatives of civil society and human rights organizations in light of the ministry’s new policy which aims at “reaching out to all forces and currents.” ........During the meeting, the minister discussed the current security situation as the country witnesses marches and sit-ins by supporters of deposed President Mohamed Morsi. He said the police has a commitment to self-restraint, stemming from its respect for freedom of expression through peaceful protest and its belief in the sanctity of blood........Ibrahim also maintained that that it is the police’s responsibility to combat any form of violence or terrorism or attacks on private and public property within the framework of its legal authorities.......The interior minister warned against women and children’s presence in the protests, but said the police only uses force in extreme cases, in an “appropriate and gradual manner.”

Latest developments:

- Putin’s visit is on Wednesday, 8/7. He’s going to get a big reception in appreciation of standing with Egypt against the Islamists and 0b0z0’s America and the western media/countries! There’s also talk about an invitation to Tahrir Square...a security nightmare, I might add! The Egyptian people are still in shock regarding the 0b0z0id policy toward them and will start “appreciating” the support of Russia, AGAIN, back to 1954! They’re wondering how do the American people allow this to happen. Little that they know; we have a dictatorship that’s supporting America’s enemies and battering its allies!

It’s a chance for the MB to try something against Putin and embarrass the hell out of the government and the rebels who would be accused of all kinds of things in Al Jazeera and the western media.

- Samia Zien el Abideen, editor of el Masaa’ “the Evening” paper said on TV that money is still pouring from the American embassy to Rabaa!! That’s our money on top of the 4-8 billion already paid as a bribe to the MB and Morsi to agree to some northern Sinai land to enlarge the Gaza Strip. (I wrote extensively about this up thread)

- demands of WITHDRAWING THE ILLEGAL EGYPTIAN NATIONALITY from 450,000 Palestinians, Syrians, etc. that Morsi’s government granted to enable those foreigners to buy lands in northern Sinai. (Read the above point about the Sinai/Gaza plot)

- I saw the drone I wrote about yesterday in flight, controlled by three MB in Rabaa. It’s white, has 4 corner rotors, it looks like the ones they fly here to check on farmers and “forbidden” to shoot down! People were speculating as to where it came from. Your guess is as good as mine, however, it’s the lousy Anne Patterson who’s still in charge....

- Mr. Ford will replace Anne Patterson. It’s called plan “A” that failed, start plan “B” as happened before in other countries like Syria! Ford was the ambassador to Syria who screwed it up in a losing effort so far. He’s an expert of empowering the Islamists in the Middle East. I predict a rough time in Egypt and that he won’t last long if the 0b0z0id regime doesn’t name someone else.

Later.....
