Egypt is facing “war by the forces of extremism”, and will confront “extremism and terrorism through security measures”, a Presidential official says

Woah, Presidency plays it well: “We observe reactions...especially that of Taliban’s” (Taliban condemned violence in statement). #Egypt
He also said right before that “in statements from the US amd Taliban for example”. Ouch.
Putting the US and Taliban in the same sentence is not a coincidence....#Egypt #PresidentialPresser
Wow. Presidency of #Egypt said: “We are monitoring reactions from other countries like the USA, and I guess the Taliban.”
Talking about biased media.
Where are reports of burned churches, more than 50?
Where are reports of killed/injured police officers?
Where are reports of looted museums?
Why are these reports missing from international media?
Where are stories of taking women and children as human shields?
Where is story of father with child in coffin when still alive?
Twitter:
#Egypt presidency: as Egyptians we are very bitter abt coverage of events, there are many missing stories..

Where is Chris Matthews with an apology from All Americans that we have funded terrorism in the world?
How did we get to a place where the world calls us corrupt- and it is true?
The damn presser is a waste of time. Very badly conducted, no wonder the MB and their media allies are doing better!
Mustafa Higazy, Ph.D., NOT TO BE MIXED UP WITH THE TERRORIST LEADER, MB SAFWAT HIGAZY WHO CALLS HIMSELF FALSLY “DOCTOR!” Is the gov spokesman.
He tagged the western press about their biased coverage. He asked whether the foreign press refuse to cover items intentionally or not. He gave examples of burning churches and the massacred Kirdasa police officers and soldiers and what has been done with their bodies. Why wasn’t these covered? Not news?
Well, I always said that the recent media bias is practiced by omission of news that doesn’t fit the agenda instead of LYING about it, getting CAUGHT, having to apologize and spread the unwanted news.
I rest my case!
14:40 GMT: Security forces have cleared Cairos El Fath mosque following the stand-off, Egyptian state TV reported. Many of the Muslim Brotherhood supporters who refused to leave the mosque earlier and barricaded themselves inside have been arrested, the report added.

Attacks on Protesters in Cairo Were Calculated to Provoke, Some Say
New York Times ^ | August 16, 2013 | By Rick Gladstone
The ferocity of the attacks by security forces on Islamist protesters in Cairo this week appears to have been a deliberate calculation of the military-appointed government to provoke violence from the Muslim Brotherhood and its allies, a number of Arab and Western historians of Middle East politics said Friday.
The objective, they said in interviews, was to demonize the Islamists in the eyes of Egypts broader populace.
Given the propaganda of the state-supported media in Cairo, tarring the Muslim Brotherhood with the terrorist brush, making them enemies, not just a nuisance, is setting them up for being completely crushed and eliminated, said Hugh Roberts, director of the Middle Eastern Studies Program at Tufts University. To use an Algerian term, eradication.
Many said the events since the forced removal of Mohamed Morsi, the first freely elected president, suggested that Egypts military commanders had concluded beforehand that they would gain nothing from negotiations with the Brotherhood, and would rather deal with it as an insurgent group that presented a security threat, not as a popular political movement.

Blast damages Egypt’s mission in Benghazi, Libya
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Hillary Clinton exploded at a congressman two days after Benghazi for suggesting that the attack was the work of terrorists, says GOP Rep.
An Illinois Republican congressman told constituents at a town hall meeting on Wednesday that then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton screamed at a fellow member of Congress two days after a U.S. diplomatic station in Benghazi, Libya was destroyed, merely for saying aloud that the attack was carried out by terrorist groups..
The Obama administration later acknowledged that reality.
But White House officials initially maintained that the deaths of four Americans and the firebomb attack on the State Department mission was the result of a spontaneous protest against a low-budget YouTube film that was critical of the Muslim prophet Muhammad.
‘Two days after this attack,’ said Rep. Adam Kinzinger, ‘we were in a briefing with Hillary Clinton and she screamed at a member of Congress whod dare suggest that this was a terrorist attack.’
‘Now we find out that while it was happening, they knew it was a terrorist attack. These are answers that we’re going to get to the bottom of.’
