USA Today reports from Cairo at least 10 killed, hundreds wounded in Egypt today on the Muslim Brotherhood's (Ikwhan) "Day of Rejection" of the Egyptian military's removal of President Morsi from office this week after a popular uprising.

Meanwhile, the U.S. State Department admitted Secretary of State John Kerry was indeed on his yacht in Nantucket on Wednesday as the revolution in Egypt succeeded:

I am trying (in what few minutes of time I have) to provide links to this thread on articles that are not news but propaganda. I saw some people comment as though the propaganda was factual.
I spoke too rashly and for that I apologize.
The truth is important, my and others’ feelings, not so much.
Next time I’ll be more careful in my comments, I’m sorry I painted with too broad a brush.
You’re quite welcome.
It’s garbage being strewn around like this that keeps many of us away from wading through these long winded threads.
There is very little “garbage like this” on these threads. And the only way to find out what’s going on in Egypt is to spend a lot of time reading. There is no short cut.
I should have known you wouldn’t make a comment like that! I’m utterly pressed for time, house is full of smoke due to wildfires aggravating asthma, and I’m just wired up too tight these days...
For you maybe... But then it probably takes you at least an hour to borrow a cup of sugar from your neighbor.
Just don't think you know what others think...
You can never tell.
One thing for sure, he ain’t a Salafi because of the lack of a substantial beard!
I kid you not.
And I'm sorry I didn't know you were a female at the time I made my first comment. I wouldn't have been so harsh. We obviously think somewhat differently...
I read his conversations with a Jihad Member here in the states last night...he is solid into Islam controlling the world one day and fully behind the Jihadists.....it's disgusting fellow journalists haven't really called the guy out. But some try...they mostly make humor of his lies and deception but they know him for what he is...unfortunately he's a mouthpiece for the MB and all over the internet
“house is full of smoke,,, wildfires aggravating asthma, “
Whoa! Will be praying.
Knock it off!
.... or take it to another thread...we have business to do here and it is not open for insulting those who care enough to participate in this historic event.
Since you care not to “wade through” or keep up with the Egypt threads then you are not in position to judge where others are attempting to find the truth.
We correct each other here if there is room for that...what we don’t do is insult others who are trying to do likewise.
I can dish it out, I can take it....
My ladylikehood disappears when I’m on FR. You should see the letters to the local paper I write...
While you are doing that, why don't you try following your own advice?
For that I commend you. ;)
Might want to cut back on those green lemons, you’re becoming absolutely sour.
Yeah, It’s probable time for me to take a break and go mow the lawn for awhile.
I just went thru all BBC’C photos of the clashes in Rabaa..of course they’re presenting them as being in Cairo as if the whole city is involved.....the reporters need to assess the situation far better than they are...but then they are after a story with Drama and fanfare to sell their sites and get paid. I sometimes think some of these news sites are stealing from our photos here!
BTW I had a nice offer from a Freeper, I won’t mention, to send me a “reward” for all the photo shots here....A special selection of coffee! How neat was that! Course I’ll decline but the offer was sweet!.... It’s enough to know it’s appreciated.
I made the mistake of not doing that enough and when I tried to get it cut yesterday, the height of the grass caused my mower to throw the deck drive belt! Now I’ve got an almost finished lawn and a busted mower. As Rosanna Danna said, “It’s always somethin’”. Just got the tree cut up and hauled away that fell partially on my house in June!
The fact is that in a complex and constantly changing situation like what’s going on in Egypt, there is not a short summary (and it would have to be updated constantly anyway), although a link to one was posted up the thread I think on this page.
It just takes a lot of time to read, thankfully melancholy and caww are going to all kinds of sites and even news in Egypt that gets translated, so we can just read. They’re really doing heavy lifting.
I’ve spent many, many hours reading these live threads because what happens in Egypt will have major effects on the spread of radical Islam, international relations esp. between Russia and the US, between Israel and the other countries in the Middle East, and Iran’s influence. Plus it’s a HUGE defeat and slap in the face for 0bastard. So it is extremely important for me, so I dedicate a lot of time to reading this thread.
Each person has to decide what’s important for him, and act accordingly.
I’ve wound up neglecting other stuff (not pinging my lists as much for instance) but that’s the breaks.
Reminds me of today’s NYT account (see the 10 photos)

Am reading your posts...can’t respond right now...and they may drop off before I get to them...but understood.
