I have been saying this same thing from the beginning. All it takes is 15 seconds of logical thought to determine who was yelling.
We know from both Zimmerman himself and eyewitness testimony that a ground-and-pound type fight took place. We know from photographic evidence that Zimmerman had injuries consistent with being on the bottom of such a fight. We know from the autopsy report that Martin had no other injuries beyond the gunshot wound. All of this adds up to Zimmerman being on the bottom of the fight and taking a pounding before resorting to deadly force. The idea that Martin would be screaming for help makes no sense whatsoever because he was never physically struck (or there is at least no evidence of that). From the eyewitness testimony and the 911 call, the screaming for help occurred during the fight and all the evidence points to Zimmerman being the only one with a reason to scream for help.
It isn’t a sliding scale either. There is absolutely no evidence that Trayvon would have had to cry for help during a struggle and there is absolutely no evidence that anything occurred that would have precipitated Martin calling for help. On the other hand, all of testimony and evidence points to Zimmerman having a reason to cry for help.
This is as straightforward as it gets.
Can y’all spell integrity? I know you can.
Spot on.
