GOP wants our money and our votes, but not our principles.

Got a fundraising postcard from RNC today asking why I hadn’t donated yet. I took the card and wrote “If you pass anmesty, I am done with you...GROW A PAIR”
********
Very close to what I did in response to the same type of letter, but not quite as colorful as your note. :)

Someone should update that with Rubio’s head.

the now confirmed certainty that no leader will emerge that won’t be corrupted by the RINO Establishment
********
Therein lies the problem. The RINO establishment is basically corrupt; only looking out for its own interest. There is NO WAY it can be reformed. Total waste of time.

The Republican Party’s leadership does not oppose Democrats.
******
There have been and still are plenty of viable options that the House could employ to defeat Democrats but they are too weak, stupid, naive and unprincipled to do so. They could control the purse strings of the federal government, but yet they keep the spend-a-thon going. No, they are enablers of big government just like their Democrat pals are.

There has been a seismic shift in Freeper attitudes.
********
The immigration fiasco in the Senate has opened many eyes. What until now has been mainly expressed in the form of disappointment has turned into open resentment. I think there is an increasing perception (that extends beyond Freeperdom) that the feckless GOP is now recognized as part of the problem.

Actually I think ‘we’ are ‘the last to know’ so to speak and the gen pub beat us to it. They are not as dogmatic as we are and have long sense bailed.

Thats why a 3rd party can work now. The gen pub hares the GOP but still has conservative values overall.

...identified four key events that prompted individuals to "disaffiliate" from the party. One was the rejection of the "lesser of two evils" argument--the argument that voters had to support a bad Republican because the Democratic candidate would invariably be worse. Both conservatives and moderates are tired of the "two evils" argument, Sorock said.

The other reasons are just as good...

El Presidente Jorge Bush and his amnesty campaign chased me away in 2007. I have no regrets, and I am hoping Palin and Levin will go forward with a new party.

Yea and you wanna bet it’s more of the same ‘take it back/fix it designed to keep people on the plantation until it is once again too late?

Sorry. After Romney I do not trust him. It’s up to him to repair that broken trust.

It’s OK. I find the defense of principle EXTREMELY ladylike.

Others disagree.

Reince Priebus will give a damn when his political party is rendered obsolete. The ignoramuses telling the GOP and RNC what the DNC wants and the ignoramuses who believe that garbage belong together. Since neither of these einsteins are smart enough to figure out the Tea Party and the religious right won them mega seats back in 2010 and stayed home when they stupidly gave us another RINO presidential candidate, it’s their party to lose (and hispanics are a fraction of what their Tea Party, religious right voters would be). The hell with them then. Chris Christie, Marco Rubio and Jeb Bush as nominees guarantee the party is dead for all intents and purposes.

Graham, McCain, Rubio, et al are unnecessarily motivating the exodus by supporting amnesty while thumbing their noses at the voters.

2014 could have been big for Republicans, but the quislings are making that an impossibility.
