I honestly don’t understand how birds can fly into trees and land on a limb in the blowing wind, yet not see windmill blades.

I honestly don’t understand how birds can fly into trees and land on a limb in the blowing wind, yet not see windmill blades.

They do see them.

But the bird can not judge the speed of the turbine blades.

I have read that the tip of the biggest turbines exceed 200 miles per hour.
