I don’t understand why so many people are rallying to stick up for one person or another in this case. There are only two people that REALLY knows what happened that night and one is dead.
We really don’t know who started the confrontation. Zimmerman has already been caught in a couple lies so how can anyone believe anything he says? The so called witnesses in the case have been caught in a few lies and changes stories more than once.
Zimmerman is an idiot and wannabe cop, while Martin was an idiot and wannabe thug and when you put two idiots together, bad things tend to happen.
I think the prosecution over reached with second degree murder charges and probably could have gotten a conviction with manslaughter but with the flimsy evidence and less then reliable testimony from all parties involved, I don’t see how this guy could possibly get convicted.
Regardless, EVERYONE needs to calm down and stop with the talks of violence in regards to a situation that only one living person really knows the truth about.

that’s not true- there are witnesses, there is evidnce that corroborates george’s account, thgere is the month long police investigation evidence that foudn george was innocent
The only ‘confusion’ coems from the FACT that DESPITE all the evidence which exonorasted George, the blacdk community DEMANDED AND GOT an arrest- a FALSE arrest (Not yellign with hte cps- just stressign key points)

What is the admissible evidence that Zimmerman was “a wannabe cop,” pray tell? I have heard people say that but where is the evidence that will be admitted in a court of law? So far there is evidence to the contrary.
The answer is pretty simple: if I was in Zimmerman’s shoes, and the preponderance of evidence indicated what it indicates NOW, I would want this to be an open-and-shut case.
The evidence clearly supports that Zimmerman fired in self defense. Good luck to you and the rest of your normal life if you ever have to draw in self defense like this. This case is clearly establishing that you are better off letting some punk beat your ass and HOPE he doesn’t kill you.
No witnesses for the defense have testified yet, so you would be referring to prosecution witnesses lying.
