It isn't a moral question.

It's a question of logic.

Hating the President isn't going to stop his agenda or convince his fans to abandon him.

Look what it's done instead: it has convinced you to excuse treason and espionage against the United States as long as it apparently makes things difficult for him.

He is playing you and so is Snowden.

He has now escaped all criticism for the shoddiness and unprofessionalism of his intelligence program. He is getting a free pass on his failure to maintain essential security measures.

In the meantime, Snowden defines treason down.
