Yes. I believe that is specifically handled in Florida's sunshine laws. The prosecution has released many things to the public in order to besmirch Zimmerman. It is undertaking a scorched-earth effort.
I hope that whoever goes after Bernardo, Mantei, Guy and Corey (at least) is at least as vicious.
