West is getting the expert to say that “groupthink” audio analysis is very dubious and unreliable. He is doing this pre-emptively, because very soon the Prosecution will call TM’s parents to say that they all got in a room and determined that it was TM’s voice doing the screaming.
West needs this because the expert witness already said that those most familiar with the voice are more likely to make a good judgement about the voice on a recording.
More likely than what. The defense is going to have a field day with reasonable doubt and likely.
Ok, thanks all. I think that Treyvons parents saying it was Treyvon screamning is a given ..and to be expected....and therefore discounted by the jury. But, now I see how this also helps that coming scenario....
