Gosh, buffering IS storing in transient memory.

The words 'transient' and 'storing' are opposites. You should give it up you're 100% wrong. 'Recording' means 'to be recorded' which means there is a record which can be retrieved and re-played. A buffered packet which held for a micro-second during transmission cannot be retrieved and re-played.

I can see this going to full sophistry, where the message is recorded upon submission (at the transmitter), and recorded again at the cell tower, and recorded again at each switch, and recorded even on the ulitimate receiver before being replayed.

You should never jump into a discussion that you havent followed!

Nothing I’ve posted is wrong, but there are a few trolls that I hadn’t realized were trolls before, that wish to argue with what I didn’t say, rather than what I did.

The reason why people do that is something we’re very familiar with here; those that speak inconvenient facts are to be discredited.

SomeCallMeTim even invented a 30-40 second delay in calls to Europe. (I called Europe last week with no perceptible delay)
