Today, July 1st, is DAY #16 (of 4th week) State of Florida V. George Zimmerman case.
Last week the prosecution feebly presented the first series of witnesses against George Zimmerman. However, as most observers would note, the witnesses called by the state have so far been more beneficial for the Zimmerman Self-Defense position.

George Zimmerman was “standing in the gap” helping improve security in his neighborhood. You need to understand that the majority of FReepers are not the type of individuals who easily become so afraid that they’ll give up the freedom to get out of their car IN THEIR OWN NEIGHBORHOOD. You might be the type of person who lives his/her life in fear, but I am not. You certainly ARE the type of person who quickly renders judgement on the George Zimmermans of the world. I’m proud of Zimmerman and his willingness to take some risk. I can’t say I’m proud to see you so ready to cast stones at George.

And YET....Z did not draw his weapon until AFTER T had broken his nose, knocked him to the ground, had beaten his head on the concrete after telling Z he was gonna die "now", had tryed to smother him... and only after T grabbed for Z's gun did Z then draw and USE it. I don't know about you, but that's pretty damned brave to me. I would have never let T sneak up on me and get that close to me before pulling my weapon and, if necessary, firing it. But then, being a female I know I would never win a physical confrontation with an almost 6' strapping, football playing male. Especially one that was potentially high as a kite.
