No mention of bruising on knuckles that we heard a while back.

I was wondering about that as well.

An abrasion on the 4th finger of his left hand.

Will that not do for your interest in hand injuries?

Punching a face doesn’t bruise knuckles.

I once had to punch through the side window of a ‘67 oldsmobile to get to the face that I was punching without bruising my knuckles.

I’m no medical expert; but, I believe the heart has to be pumping blood to create a bruise. So, it would not be unusual for there to be no bruising.

He had an abrasion on the knuckle side of his finger, which probably came when he broke Zimmerman's nose. As others here have stated, there are plenty of other places you can strike someone without injuring your fingers.

I think what' s more significant is the fact that, aside from the gunshot wound and the hand abrasion, Martin had no other injuries. So all this talk about "who threw the first punch" or whether they were "rolling on the ground" or whether Zimmerman started the fight, but then Martin got the best of him - it's all baloney.

Contrasting Martin's autopsy with Zimmerman's injuries leads to only one conclusion - this wasn't a fight, it was a one-sided beat-down, as Zimmerman described, which can usually only occur when the first strike is a sucker-punch - and that was probably when Zim got his nose broken.

After that initial strike, which is likely the one to have injured Martin's hand, Zim was probably on the ground, and most of the other damages being done to Zim were probably from having his head grabbed and banged into the ground, which also would not cause damage to Martin's hands.
