So Trayvon was a regular user of pot? He had it in his blood and carboxy. Used at least four hours earlier and two weeks to a month too.

********

THC is the psychoactive chemical found in marijuana. Depending on the amount and frequency that the drug is consumed, THC carboxy (the by-product of the body’s metabolism of the drug) can remain in the system from about two weeks to a month.

THC, the drug itself, remains in the body for up to four hours.

According to the autopsy report, Martin’s blood from his chest contained 1.5 ng/mL of THC. There was 7.3 ng/mL of THC-COOH (carboxy).

THC, the drug itself, remains in the body for up to four hours.

It may remain in the blood for x number of hours but it is oil soluble and is absorbed into body fat only to be release again into the blood in small amounts and reabsorbed over and over again until slowly eliminated from the system.
