As Byron York has written, Mitt Romney would have lost the election even if he had won 70% of the Hispanic vote. And as Breitbart News thoroughly documented, Romney would have won the election had 389,821 more working class voters in four states turned out to vote. Palin urged Americans to read the Breitbart News article that detailed how the Senate's amnesty bill betrayed working class Americans of all ethnicities.
By noting that the immigration bill devastates working class Americans regardless of race, Palin is emphasizing that the best way for Republicans to win over minorities and expand the party's tent is not to pander to various racial and ethnic groups, but to instead embrace and fight for working class Americans that are people of all races and ethnicities.

As the author indicates, the way to expand the "Big Tent" is NOT to pander to different factions but to demonstrate how your philosophy and policies will benefit everyone.
"A rising tide lifts all boats."
I don’t think Hispanics nor anyone in the USA wants 100 million more 3rd world immigrants coming to the USA
Only chance to stop the Amnesty bill is for the House not to consider any immigration related bill at all.
Michelle Bachman explained it. ANY House bill no matter if it promises all the border security in the world will be a trojan horse.NO bill at all must come out of the House because it will be merged with the Senate Amnesty and trojan horse bill. Call congress.
Tell them to stop all Amnesty or immigration bills.they are all trojan horse bills. some will promise border security that will never be enforced anyway.
Bachmann explained it . The House will write a border security bill only . then in conference the senate will add the virus and then bring it back to the house. then the conservatives wont vote for it but democrats will all vote for it so then they only need 10% of republicans to pass Amnesty and the virus that will destroy America. so any bill at all will be added the virus . so best thing is for Boner to not let any immigration bill at all come out of the House. that is the only hope . call boner and the members of the House.
Tom Tancredo echos what Michelle Bachmann said.

call congress . no bill at all from the House
Wow, nobody ever thought of that before.
LOL.
Palin bump.
Any move we make costs us Pedro's vote; therefore, the only sensible solution is to defeat amnesty and make up for the lost Pedros among working class folks that really don't want to play Democratic party racial politics.
I agree with you.
With an emphasis on “working class folks”.
We need American jobs. In America.
Stop exporting American jobs.
....and which of the leaders or those pushed as the next greatest thing are pushing that idea? We know that it isn’t anything new but at least someone is doing it. Instead you tend to bash people who at least is trying to get the message across but offer no solution yourself
Division, the bane of the American people, is at the heart of dems politics (eg affirmative action.) If unity could be achieved through logical discussion and discourse, the People would fare far better.
Actually others have but have been attacked for doing so. Rick Santorum was attacked for reaching out to union members in Michigan when he was doing it exactly the right way by talking about Obama’s job killing policies and taxes. Keep in mind that Michigan union members polled supported right to work by 40%.
yup. Even democratic type people who work for a living are disgusted with the state of our welfare state. that’s very exploitable. I find it best to point out that we believe in a safety net, not a lazy net. and that we believe in tax policies that attract jobs, not ones that repel them. We have to be careful discussing tax policy as the democrats have done an ex cellent job of demonizing the job creators.
Aren’t Sarah’s brother and parents current/retired public school employees?
Isn’t Todd a union member?
According to some, public school teachers, government employees, and union members are all enemies of freedom. It seems that Sarah Palin has a different view of things. Conservatism will never truly succeed through rabble-rousing demonization of ordinary people. That also includes the working poor, the unemployed, the elderly, or anyone else who is trying to survive. A big tent beats a circular firing squad any day.
He’s just the self appointed blog pimp police. Don’t look for any real answers to any real questions from him. If you had an internet dog, he’d have shot it by now.
What we have now is years of expanding welfare rolls, and the creation of an even larger portion of society that vote for their benefits and not their prosperity. Conservatives should be blunt and tell these people that the choice is theirs. They can vote to continue receiving their EBT card or they can vote for the belief in future prosperity. One thing they will never experience on public assistance is prosperity.
Sarah did not run this past time, which disappointed many, but I am seeing more and more how following God’s will also means following His all-wise and all-powerful timing. Let’s pray a miracle occurs and that not only politicians, but that people see afresh the value of being right with God, and not quick-fixes. We do not need to band-aid this thing, we need miraculous healings. As the country turns into a laughing stock, God may be using that to say “hey proud big wigs in Washington? see what a weak, inept laughing stock you are now a proud big wig of? don’t you think it’s time for something fresh?”
Sure I’m ok with that, except meanwhile all the jobs those very same people used to support themselves with, are going to China.
That is the thing, that is not being discussed, and it is critically important.
China just passed America in exports.
China is built, as an exporting machine.
The GOP is simply selling China everything it needs, to out-produce... US.
We are selling our very own future.
What the heck is wrong with us?
I’m tired of listening to the GOP cry about how the dems win on every issue....grow some balls believe in something and talk about what you believe
