Well, I liken it to the old proverb about honey attracting more bees than vinegar does, and I think it’s true.
On the other side of that coin, it is another staple of human nature that relishes the act of saying “I told you so…”.
The side that would say I told you so needs to spread little more honey on it, and the side that’s coming in out of the cold has to be a little more willing to be able to hear I told you so and roll with it.
I think conservatives can do it.
