First, as it stands now, (and ONLY my guess and it is early and much can change) do not expect George Zimmerman to take the witness stand (although he has a Constitutional right to do so if he wants to do so.)

This re-enactment video will help you understand the scene of the shooting according to George Zimmerman and is in his words. It is also a horrible video for the prosecution.

For the feds to get involved, they need to prove a civil rights violation. Not only is there is absolutely no evidence in this case that Zimmerman targeted Martin because he was black (he was a stranger in his community, he was walking between homes while raining, he was a punk, etc.), but with Zimmerman's background with people of other races, particularly his leading the protest of the black homeless man the cops allegedly abused, they'd be fools to try.

I wish I could agree with you, but if facts were treated the way they should be, this trial would have never started. For purposes of prosecution, you are who the government and the media decide to say you are. We have a guy still in jail allegedly because he produced a video that caused a riot that got an ambassador murdered. What they charge you with is irrelevant. Fact is they can find something to charge him with and they can paint him in a way that makes it seem reasonable.

I just listened to the tape again. The dispatcher advised him not to get out of his car. I heard nothing in the tape about keeping an eye on TM.

In my neighborhood, if someone was skulking about and there was a history of break-ins (there have been) and said person was skulking near my house or my neighbors houses, damn right I'd confront him. Race doesn't enter into it.

I agree. I’m never sure where this relative fits though. It seems to me that he is dedicated to something, I’m not sure what. The democrat party, liberalism, some unspoken ideology, or whatever. He tailors his reality around whatever it is. Facts that don’t fit, he simply denies. I can’t tell if he does that on purpose, or if he’s really that deluded.
