We have several areas in the inner cities of Minneapolis-St Paul that are the exclusive domain of over-educated white liberals. I could easily see the same kind of protest happen in these so-called “open-minded, progressive” communities as well.

FWIW the BART systems'original plan had the northern terminal as being in Marin rather than the Del Norte station.
