Alexandria security chief Gen. Amin Ezz Eddin told Al-Jazeera TV that an American was killed Friday in Sidi Gabr Square while photographing the battles between opposition youth and members of the Muslim Brotherhood, from which Morsi hails.
A medical official told The Associated Press the American was wounded by gunshots and died at the hospital.

Isaiah 19:2
And I will set the Egyptians against the Egyptians: and they shall fight every one against his brother.
The deadline is reportedly 4:30pm egypt time, which is 10:30am here on the east coast.
‘Kuwait’ urges its citizens to leave Egypt “at the earliest” and warns against travel to the country.
‘Britain’ and ‘Austria’ also telling people to leave.
Sad what has happened to a wonderful, historic nation. My mom tells the story of her and my dad in Egypt, about 1980 I would guess. They are away from their tour group for the evening, and happen across a wedding “parade”. My dad gets my mom to follow the parade through the streets, and watch them as they go into a building.
My dad and mom (in their sixties) sneek up to a window to try to catch a view of the festivities. Suddenly they are confronted by two burly men asking what they are doing. My dad tries to get the point across that they were just curious as he spoke some simple english words and friendly gestures.
“OH! AMERICAN! Come in and join us!”
Mom has photos of my old man doing some type of line dance up in front with all the other men, toasting the married couple into the wee hours of the night, sitting at the main table.
I’m glad they had the opportunity then.
Nice they had that opportunity.. Egypt is a beautiful nation...
It basically does have various groups and peoples there who don’t want the Brotherhood demanding they abide by Sariah rule...
Morsi and the Brotherhood operate from a failure to understand democracy...(so does Obama)..which is taking in consideration ‘the people’ and other parties/groups.....
...for the Brotherhood the election win meant they “rule” because they won...and that’s it....in large because their agenda is to rule by Islamic Sharia Law...Worldwide.
So it’s impossible for the Brotherhood to be in leadership and expect them to operate as Democratic Leaders...they can’t.
The Morsi supporters also of that mindset...strict adherence to Islamic law. They cannot fathom freedom the way we know it to be...rather they are accustomed to living under “rulers”...rather than engage their governance.
Reading some of the other posts and threads it reminds me of the French Revolution.
Just posted the clash that went down tonight near the University...photo of Muslim Brotherhood ‘carrying Alqueda flag’ as they met the opposition in the fight.
These creeps are so full of hatred....bloodthirsty animals even against their own!
Sorry, there were ‘200’ injured in that fight...22 dead tonight.
If you have the stomach to hear a gunfight this is from the thugs going at it pictured with the Alqueda flag above this post near the Cairo University tonight...well it’s almost mornign there now...I understand the firing went on a good part of the night but seems to have lessoned as dawn approaches....22 killed....200 injured.

CW, you are doing a yeoman’s job keeping up with this. Thank you.
I have been wondering where chief running lips mccain and oil of linseed have been hiding out. They sure aren’t out there calling for morsi to step down, are they?
Yo Mesta!
Yea...some heavy lifting staying on top of it since I still have to work too! But am enjoying it very much...It is Historical...but I don’t think in the way the Egyptians think it’s going to play out.
Oh McBain has spoken a bit but I never can stand hearing him but for a minute if that....I harbor such anger toward the man for his role in Obama’ sitting over our country....he’s a bad actor IMO in every way...
The adminsistration and other leaders are “mentioning” Morsi should consider stepping down...but they have a protecal in these matters....coaches and such who know how these things work...tipping points and the rest.
This is basically simmilar to Mubarack’s fall...
