That's why, even though Kindle books are so handy, I continue to collect original source document collections and classic books in hard copies. I just keep thinking that someday my family or descendants will be grateful. Even if I don't have time to read them all, : ). I just want to have a library to pass down to my kids and grandkids. The monks kept a lot of books safe during the anarchy of the fall of the Roman Empire. We may be called on to do the same.
How the Irish Saved CivilizationYou know, you could really be on to something. Can these Kindle books auto-update? If not, I'll bet they will in the near future. Changing a few words here and there a little at a time. Pretty soon, the "book" won't resemble its original form. What a great way to re-teach the masses so they will be one large compliant populace.
Having the hard copy books may become illegal (contraband, ya' know!).
