Yes, that's an important distinction. However, if there's a biological cause, then a diagnostic test cannot be far behind. If there's a positive test, many parents are going to want a "cure". That might involve altering the gestational environment -- or, it might involve abortion.

Amazing the “fear” of a righteous couple possibly aborting a child if it was found that the child was defective in a culture that champions aborting 50,000,000 children just because it is inconvenient to raise a child.
The evil bend over backwards to press standards on the righteous that they would not even THINK of following themselves. That is why its called evil.
