The state has been claiming that GZ followed Martin after he hung up with NEN, but according to John Good’s recollection of events the beatdown lasted a long time [time for him to hear it, go outside and see it, then come in and go upstairs and call 911 and look out the window when he heard the gunshot] leaving no time for a chase or following. That could be as long as 2 to 2.5 minutes.

The state narrative just suffered a deadly blow in a way that they have yet to realize. It also means that Jeantel may have been on the phone with Martin listening to entire beatdown — contrary to what she claims.
Of course she was on the other end listening and laughing until the phone disconnected. And I’m sure if Martin managed to knock out Z he would have sent a nice pic of the creepy ass cracka knocked out on his cell to her.
Martin in his zeal to show how hood he was to this simpleton Dee Dee circled back in a “watch this” moment to jump Zimmerman, and wound up getting his ass handed to him via a shot to the chest.
