IMO once he open his mouth and the jury hears his voice they will know he is the one who yelled for help. He’s got the build of a tenor The speaking voice is determined by the size of the vibration of the vocal chords.
The defense might be able to get his walkthrough in as evidence without him taking the stand. It might be able to be introduced by the officer who he was talking to in the video.
I think they’ve already heard his voice on the call with the police dispatcher.
