Everything seems to be going swimmingly for the defense, except for on thing. The Rack, I mean the Colombian woman, said she thought the guy on top was wearing black and orange. It was so dark, I’m wondering if she could have been mistaken, or maybe she caught a glimpse of the two when GZ rolled TM off of him and was in the process of getting up. Hope this doesn’t become problematic.
Actually this proves the defense's case because she was late in hearing the beatdown and only looked out when she heard the shot. It was after that shot that Zimmerman got on top of him and that's when she saw what she saw.
There are a couple of comments at the end of yesterday’s thread that explains what she saw. GZ was briefly standing over or at the side of the body after getting out from under and he did yell to call the police. Her part of the puzzle began after the death

She said she saw them after she heard the gunshot. GZ's own statement said that he got out from under TM after he shot him, and held TM's arms down (not knowing how badly TM was hurt). So the witness's statement is completely consistent with GZ's own account and actually bolsters his story.
