The hope will come in the reset that follows a Soviet-style collapse.
The Soviets managed to milk it for 70 years. Thus it ain’t happening in my lifetime.
They managed for 70 years with food assistance, loans from Western central banks, and WWII lend-lease. They would have collapsed decades earlier if left to their own devices.
In fact, global socialism cannot survive without America's food & humanitarian assistance, one-sided trade agreements, and IMF loans. When America turns 100% socialist, who will prop us up? No one, hence it will only last 20 years at best.
That is only because the west and there supporters in the west provided them with credits and material. If that didn’t happen, there movement wouldn’t even have survived the 20’s.
