I think to solve income taxes by moral recognition, we must goto a flat tax on each individual.

actually, I think individual income taxes are ipso facto immoral. They are essentially a tax on being a person. If we can't figure out a way to fund the operations of government that doesn't require a tax on breathing, then we ought to give freedom up as a bad idea. Frankly if gov't has to fund itself at the point of gun it's going to feel empowered to keep digging around for change in your pockets and other dark cavities...

As long as our Gov is in the business why not remove the moral aspect. That is what Supreme Court has decided not only the DOMA but the civil rights act and the obamacare law.

Hear hear,

Taxation is theft and imposes part-time slavery on formerly sovereign citizens.

Income taxes violate equal protection, because Congress imposes a different tax amount on a case by case individual basis based on arbitrary aspects of their activities and purchases. Then the IRS steps in to perform whatever arbitrary and capricious colonoscopy they want on anybody they choose, with employee bonuses to those that abused groups or individuals under color of authority.

You can’t fix stupid, and ‘reforming’ income taxes is stupid squared. Repeal and abolish is the only way to fix this mess.
