Very possible, but that would require that his panicked email was just a coincidence.
If course, newer cars are different, as many have stated, and many have no direct linkage between the pedal and the engine. It is done by computer.
However, the pedal itself still has a spring on it, otherwise, it wouldn’t stay in the up position to begin with.
I read a comment about that missing 2 mins; supposedly he was at a gas station when Hastings car was filmed going by, and his dashcam filmed it.
But my question is: did he replay the segment before going to the crash, or after? Sounds like he got the crash info from the scanner, but why’d he make such a torturous bunch of turns to get to it, if it was straight ahead on the same blvd? I can’t quite understand what the scanner’s saying. Too much ‘noise’.
I’d just guess that no one has come forward yet because they don’t want to be targeted, too.

The federal agencies have been murdering Americans for a long time. It’s just that with the current regime ruling US they really don’t care if we know it now because that serves their agenda to frighten Americans into compliance and silence while the regime makes the final transformations to end the Republic. Journalist like HAstings are a very rare glitch now, so they can be terminated as example to the rest of the enabling media vermin.

Where are the parents of these kids that have died....Hastings parents and the Benghazi parents...if it were my child nothing would make me shrivel back in grief but pursue with full gusto answers...even if he was burned to a crisp...I would take every remaining piece of tissue for expert analysis!

The SEALS all died after they were outted. Breitbart dropped dead right after saying he had something big. Then whathisface was wandering around out of his mind and turned up dead, a mom leaves for work on a big contract day and burns up in her garage, half sister Lia dies immediately after talking to the media, grandma wasn’t talking to anyone and died hours before the election, 5 gay dudes in Chicago were executed and zero investigation, etc. How many of these coincidences do we have to have before someone starts to question them? I say were long past the head scratching point.
Perhaps, but I do find it odd that the FBI showed up at the scene of what should normally be a routine car crash.

Well... I hadn’t seen that video yet. I’ve watched it three times. The text on screen keeps obscuring what the author is trying to describe.

I agree with most of what you wrote, with one exception:

This is not entirely true. Most of the post-war “economic destruction” of Germany was not a result of Versailles, it was a result of how Germany financed the war, and how it differed from the way Britain financed the war for her allies. The British model was to bundle all of the French, Russian and Italian war bonds under her line of credit along with British war credits, and then go sell the lot the only place in the world where there was enough capital to absorb it: New York. The New York financiers were happy to buy up the British war debt because the British Empire had good credit, and a whole lot of that money was coming back into the United States to purchase food, raw materials and other war goods. It was good for business. It was also very good in the short term for the British. It meant that the Wall Street bankers had a stake in the outcome of the war. In order to get their return on investment, the Allies had to win. Our intervention on their part was pretty much dictated at that point. The bankers also had a stake in keeping the British economy going to get that return. It didn’t make sense to bankrupt them.
The Germans were frozen out of the New York market. Nobody wanted to sell to them, as the British blockade meant none of that money was coming back to the United States to buy anything. So the Germans had to “sell” the debt to themselves, mostly in the form of five year short-term notes. In 1921-1923, those notes came due but as losers in the war, there were no buyers. Thus the German government printed money to write down the debt, and destroyed their economy and the middle class who owned the now worthless bonds.
You will note as a sidelight, in a way that makes your post even more chilling in its application to the United States today, that in the past six years we went from the British model of financing our annual government deficits to the German one. When the annual deficits were $400 billion per year, there was enough capital on the international markets to absorb it. When the deficits went to $1.6 trillion per year, it was far in excess of that capacity. Thus, “Quantitative Easing” and the electronic printing of money to paper over that debt. And it creates the same economic conditions that supported Hitler in his rise to power.
I really did like your post, but had to take exception to this one part. Yes, Versailles was an unduly harsh treaty, both diplomatically and militarily for Germany. But most of the economic consequences they brought on themselves before the Versailles Treaty was signed. Signs of rampant inflation were apparent in the German economy as early as 1916.
The progression from the Second to Third Reich has always been an interest of mine. I obtained a degree in Germanic Language from Indiana University in 1981. I can sum up German literature, theater and culture from 1955-1980 with two questions every German wrestled with: “How could we have let this happen?” and “Was all our sacrifice and suffering only for evil?” Your post reflects a lot of these questions, and suggests the answers they found.
In addition, I have one other memory that serves in this regard. After my undergraduate work, I attended law school, where within the first month of my first semester, Professor Harvey turned his class over to a Holocaust survivor. He spent the hour telling us what he had to do to be the only member of his family to survive Auschwitz. Professor Harvey did this every year. I recall listening to the presentation, and knowing what happened in the Holocaust, I thought “Yeah, so....” Then the professor went to the podium and all he said was “Your duty as lawyers is to make sure this never happens again.” He was right; in Germany from 1933 to 1945, where was “the Rule of Law?”
I recall that every other member of my class who left that lecture was convinced that it could not happen here. Or if they were American communists, we would be “good” communists, and the left would not do this. But the conserverative right were, in their minds, all Nazis and they would. They thought the Nazis and Communists were different, but in reality, they have much more in common than in what differentiates them.
I have to admit that I am disappointed in many Republicans, who really are “right wing socialists,” or Fascists, if you will. They have readily supported every foreign venture and every expansion of police powers. It should be apparent to them now where that gets you when a communist seizes control of the machinery they created.
And I didn't notice it was YOU who I thought had already provided a possible answer per your earlier post: A poster told me that it was a scanner he was listening to in his car, and he made 3-4 (edited) l/r turns, while Hastings went straight and crashed on the same blvd he blew thru the red light. You’d have to Google Earth the names of the streets; I don’t have their software downloaded, so I just took the poster’s word for it, based on the 'other' posters comment. I can’t find the post, but he ticked-off the streets/blvds like he knew the area well.

FOX is back on my ban list after this morning with Trump. He was going on and on about Snowden being nothing but a HS drop out, blah, blah, blah. It was just a few days ago that Snowden's dad was on FOX explaining that in 10th grade he had mono for several months so had to drop out but took his GED and enrolled in the community college. FOX never corrected Trump and I'd bet Trump knew the real story but was spreading horse hockey. Bottom line, FOX lied. Sorry, FOX, you failed again. You're nothing but another CNNMSNBCABCCBS.
