I quit watching her show years ago. In fact, the Food Network is overrated in my opinion. It’s become more entertainment rather than actual cooking.
I would agree...maybe in the original theme as they started out, it was pure cooking, but it’s mostly entertainment now. Here’s the thing....by Xmas, Paula will have finished a book entitled “How I recovered from the N-word episode”. The Today Show will interview her, and the food network will let her back in by spring of 2014.
Guy Fieri is a flaming douche, but “Diners, Drive ins and Dives” is pretty entertaining. That’s about all I can stand of the Food Network any more. That and when they occasionally rerun Good Eats.
I went to her restaurant in Savannah and thought the Golden Corral was better
Can stomach her for about two minutes, until she says “Ya put two table spoons of oy all in the skillet.” How do you get two syllables out of the word oil?
Or one day she asks her son if he wanted smo. Smo? I’m thinking...What the h*ll is smo?
Some more.
“Its become more entertainment rather than actual cooking.”
Agreed. It use to be on in my home for the better part of the day. Now almost never. It has become nothing more than another reality TV network. All cooking contests all the time. Do like Triple D though.
