Another thing is when you look at the 3rd world standard of living, the most poor areas of detroit are a paradise for many of them.

Back when I used to cover the Baja off road races, I became friends with one of the affluent local racers. we were out prerunning the Baja 1000 course south of Ensenada and came across a tin shed out in nowheresville. Long story short the woman and kids living there were National Geographic poor.

Such people will gladly accept our standard of poverty as they cannot even dream of such opulence...which means the dems can pocket the difference with no fear of complaint.

Our welfare poor live like kings compared to the real poor of the 3rd world. It sucks to live there and they want to come here and living poor (here) is more than good enough for them
