The Obama administration's handling of its multiple scandals paints a picture of those who believe they are above the law. There's a pattern of arrogance, dismissiveness, denial, scapegoating, stonewalling, lying, false professions of ignorance, assurances of accountability and punishing whistle-blowers.
The numerous parallels in the administration's handling of the Fast and Furious and Internal Revenue Service scandals alone are too striking to be coincidental. The recurring theme is that the buck never stops at the Obama White House.
With Fast and Furious, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives adopted an ill-conceived, indefensible plan to deliberately walk guns into Mexico with the hope that they would end up at scenes of crimes perpetrated by Mexican drug lords and thus lead to their arrests.
Under the plan, ATF agents were instructed to reject their training and not follow the weapons but wait until after crimes had been committed and people had been injured or killed with the weapons and then try to link them to the drug lords.
When the murder of U.S. Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry led to the outing of this operation, everyone in the administration denied knowledge and approval of it.
The Department of Justice blamed U.S. attorneys and "rogue" ATF agents, though they are under the DOJ umbrella anyway. The ATF blamed Main Justice. The White House professed total ignorance ...

The buck has gone hypersonic.
Hussein IS a rogue.
Conservatives need to make sure that this amnesty bill ‘never reaches Obama’.
Too many traitors in the GOP plan on using all these government/Obama scandals and misdeeds and mistakes as a cover to sneak a massive O-care type amnesty bill to Obama.
If they are successful every thread like this on Obama will be pinged with FUGOP in comments.
I’m sure all these other scandals are meant to keep Benghazi off the headlines. I mean what have we learned that we didn’t already know about the IRS targeting conservatives and NSA spying? The media is gleefully covering the NSA stuff, even quoting movie stars. Meanwhile, the Congress is trying to hold hearings about Benghazi and what appears to be outright treason by our president.
The press protects and defends him.
ABOUT INSPECTORS GENERAL...Established by the Inspector General Act of 1978, the Office of Inspector General (OIG) examines all actions of a government agency or military organization. Conducting audits and investigations, either independently or in response to reports of wrongdoing, the OIG ensures that the agencys operations are in compliance with the law and general established policies of the government. Audits conducted by the OIG are intended to ensure the effectiveness of security procedures, or to discover the possibility of misconduct, waste, fraud, theft, or certain types of criminal activity by individuals or groups related to the agencys operation. Misuse of agency funds or equipment are often revealed by OIG audits....
Obama's approach to inspectors general:
...Over the past few years Barack Obama has attempted to starve the beast by refusing to fill vacancies in the ranks of Inspectors General as they have arisen. The White House been routinely chided for years over its negligence. Timothy Smith of the Washington Post reported in May of 2011 that "there were 10 IG vacancies, including five at cabinet-level agencies. Four of them had been vacant for more than 3 years."...
America's system of government has many checks and balances. Obama is deliberately thwarting our system of checks and balances and, at the same time, declaring that Americans need not worry about tyranny.
And I blame the current Speaker of the House for not using the checks and balances available to him to stop 0bama's thwarting ...
HOWEVER, it should be enough to make a few cabinet secretaries sweat.
Yes, I blame the Speaker also. That photo of him trying to kiss up to the wookie at a luncheon while she had a look that said “get away from me” on her face made me wonder how this man got to be speaker!
What weak opponents the rats have - really cuts down on the work they have to do to destroy the strong ones like Sarah.
Just hang the underlings. hat will make any future rogue employees think twice.
The buck reaches him....but he turns his back on it.
Obama has nothing to do with what is going on. Focus on him and you miss the action. Concentrate on winning the election of '14 with the best (possible) people.
If people cant trust not only the executive branch but also dont trust Congress, and dont trust federal judges, to make sure that were abiding by the Constitution with due process and rule of law, then were going to have some problems here. Barack Hussein Obama 6/7/13
Obama is just like Al Capone. You can’t pin anything on him. It’s a Chicago thug thing.
Someone (Romney?) needs to bring a lawsuit that this past election was illegitimate! Outright vote suppression and intimidation.
