With all of Bush's faults Obama had surpassed Bush long ago regarding war. There's a great argument that both Afghanistan under the Taliban was a threat to our national security (AKA Sept 11th, and as far as Iraq goes, Saddam Hussein had been shooting at out jets enforcing the UN Resolutions which Saddam failed to abide by after first agreeing with them.
Obama, on the other hand, involves us with other nations' civil wars and worse (such as Egypt) other nations' protest. And if that's not bad enough, replaces friendly governments with the same crowd that supported the attacks on Sept 11th and worse than that has been arming the very people that carried out the attacks on 911.
Compared to Obama, GW Bush looks like Ghandi.

I have a different take on this.
Bluntly stated. Syria is going to get flattened and little than nothing left to govern.
I say this because it’s possible this might be the Damascus thing.....Syria is not going to go down at all easily as they have proven for three years now. Assad (Iran) is not going down without a terrible fight and none of the groups fighting there care about life to begin with...important to remember they all love war and fighting to the death.
So those who are orchestrating this attack now against Syria are not going to piece meal their attacks like in Egypt, Libya and even Iraq. Someone there is ‘already’ using chemical weapons..and I have no doubt Iraq’s WMD’S are there.
A long while back it was stated if this ended up we’d have to be involved there would be no pussy footing around. They may hit their military bases etc. first...but Assad will think nothing of bringing out chemical weapons and all that he has.
Therefore...this is going to be one very nasty battle...and there won’t be much left in Syria when it’s over.
We will piss them off enough for Syria attack Israel. Then we will see (not) what balls Obama has.

My fears exactly. But I think Iran will attack Israel first as a retaliation for American intervention. And they’ll all turn on us over their own squabbles/civil wars. 0bama has proven the great uniter alright. Just not on our soil.

I’m going to stick my neck out and say this is going to be a go against Damascus....and a hard strike. They are not going to ease into this with Assads chemical weaponary ready to fire.
If and when this is a go...I think Israel will take out Irans nuclear sites...within the time frame...before or after or in between. It would give Israel her cover....and chances of being criticized for doing so will be almost mute.
Russia and China have been moving their ships etc. for some time now....I believe they are aware the powder -keg is ready to blow and are stationing themselves to protect their interests...naturally...so would we.
This has been three years coming and Assad, or whoever, crossed the line with chemical weapons.....be it purposeful or not, no nations are going to sit back while that might escalate....and Assad has shown he will not go away....and quite capable of doing what he wants.
We can complain and speculate all we want about Obama and our own scandals here....but this has been coming for awhile now...and if people think about it this news is not surprising...we knew it would come to this in time.
People in Muslim countries are always at war or preparing for war or living under the thumb of thugs. Why on earth would we bother to get involved? There’s NO win here. None. Either side that gets in will be our enemy.
It isn't a hype about chemical weapons...we know they've been using them in Syria...doesn't matter who is using them..the fact they are being used is enough to intervene in this....and I suspect many nations are supporting stopping that insanity. Just a friendly warning..I wouldn't be sharing about where our troops are......loose lips sink ships.

If anything Israel will be taking out Irans Nuclear in the heat of this, likely timed along with any surge against Damascus.
Israel has been ready for any of this...in all ways.
