Our history of disagreement has almost all been about Palin thus far. Fact.

It hasn't been pretty. Fact.

I had derisive nick names for you as well. Fact.

In my opinion, I really haven't changed my beliefs very much at all. I doubt you have either.

Since we exchanged freepmails at the end of the 2012 campaign, I have come to change my mind about where you are coming from. I'm moving on concerning our disagreement on this thread, neither of us has changed the mind of the other on this subject, perhaps another time and another place concerning Palin.

Have a great day, I need to go.

Not a fact...  Palin wasn't even on the scene years ago when we were disagreeing.  You've been here since 2003.  Palin didn't come on the scene until 2008.  Nice try...

It hasn't been pretty. Fact.
Agreed

Well, you're certainly entitled to your belief, no matter how wild it is related to reality.

I'm moving on concerning our disagreement on this thread, neither of us has changed the mind of the other on this subject, perhaps another time and another place concerning Palin.  Okay, you're moving on.  I'll simply await your response.  As for us not changing the mind of the other, you tried to spin Palin's views, and I supplied her own statements.  You tried to pass off the Arizona state law as if it were an immigration reform package, and I called you on it.  Look, you don't stand a chance of changing my mind with flawed arguments.  I don't stand a chance of changing your mind even with her own words from Palin's mouth.  There is a difference.  You don't know it, at least don't acknowledge it.  You're still the same spinning creature you've always been.  I just like watching you squirm around trying to claim that isn't the case.  I'm rather tempted to include a tag touching on the fact that you're not going to respond again, and you're going to tell Jim and everyone will know..., but alas...

Have a great day, I need to go.
You have a great day too.  Don't let this exchange get you down.

You and I have spent 40 or more years in So. California, and we know better than most FReepers what amnesty will do to those stated OUTSIDE of California. If we can’t somehow stop it, I could give a rats azz about “holding Obama accountable” for anything, or 2014. America as we know it, will be finished in no more than 10-20 years.

We have 316 million people here now. http://www.census.gov/popclock/ Imagine over 100 million new citizens in less than 20 years.

That’s what the entire population of the United States was in roughly 1915. (101 million according to Siri)

Where would they all go? Many would go to our larger cities like New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles. Many would swamp other cities. Overnight our communities nationwide would become majority Hispanic cities. What we see now in parts of Florida and Texas, and nearly all of California, would be taking place all over.

It would be a nightmare. I say this not really disapproving of Hispanics per se, but I wouldn’t want to see 100 million White Northern Europeans descend on us either. The acceptance of any group of people flooding in like that is insane policy.

I agree with your take on it.

Me either. It’s a real mess. I hope this dies in the House, but frankly I can’t see how it would with a Democrat majority, and turncoats aplenty.

Poor, with no allegiance to our culture, or America, PERIOD!

IT WOULD HAPPEN ALMOST OVERNIGHT, JUST LIKE THE MID-WILSHIRE DISTRICT IN LOS ANGELES, IN 1987. THE ENTIRE AREA WAS INFESTED WITH ILLEGALS, DESTROYING A PROSPEROUS AREA. WE CLOSED OUR COMPANY AND MOVED

That's right.

Exactly right.

I know that area fairly well. It's not that I traveled their frequently, but in the old days it didn't change much. And then it changed dramatically in just a few years.

The old two story rental units in those areas were very nice. The places were meticulous. In short order the walls had cracks, the grass was gone, shopping baskets were on the side-walks.

I drove through there and was deeply saddened to see an area I really admired, be turned into a pigsty in short order.

Another time I drove by the corner of Western and one or two streets above or below Santa Monica boulevard. There was what for all intents and purposes looked just like a street market from India. This wasn't one of the new trendy flea markets. It was a daily thing. A decent modern U. S. city street turned into the old country. It was other worldly to see.

That seems to be your problem. No answers, just spinning and insults.

I have explained why I don’t think Palin would serve us well being a talking head at FoxNews.

Us? Who can you name that would serve "us" better? Or who would serve you better since clearly you believe you are more pure and conservative than most of "us".

Yawn... you need to get yourself some better material.

The topic of the thread is PALIN going back to FOXNEWS.

I made comments about that. Silly me.

PALIN: You deport them.

You disagree? Yes or no?

O’REILLY: Do you make them register with the federal government? Do you tell them they have 60 days to get out of here before we put you in jail? What do you do with them?

PALIN: Do we make them register with the federal government? Yes, we do.

O’REILLY: Yes, so we know who they are.

PALIN: We have — exactly, yes. I want to answer to that question absolutely.

O’REILLY: All right.

PALIN: We’re not going to give them a free pass.

O’REILLY: So you make them register with the federal government.

PALIN: We’re not going to reward the bad behavior.

O’REILLY: And if they don’t register with the — say you gave them 60 days to register with the federal government. There’s a form at the post office they have to send in like a Census form. All right, say they didn’t do it.

PALIN: You deport them.

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/3030890/posts?page=138#138

To clarify, so you support a path to citizenship for undocumented (illegal aliens) immigrants?

I do because I understand why people would want to be in America. To seek the safety and prosperity, the opportunities, the health that is here. It is so important that yes, people follow the rules so that people can be treated equally and fairly in this country.

I’m not going to participate in a question of purity contest with you
