A major investigation is under way in Las Vegas after a court officer is accusing of sexually molesting a woman, and employees and managers allegedly covered up the assault.
Video has just surfaced of Monica Contreras, who went to family court with her 2-year-old daughter in August 2011.

KLAS-TV reports she was in court for a routine divorce hearing.
According to internal court documents, as Contreras was leaving, family court marshal Ron Fox ordered her into a waiting room for an unexplained drug search, the station says.
Contreras claims Fox touched her buttocks and breast, and also ordered her to lift up her shirt.
Clark County courts conducted a later investigation which validated the womans allegations.
Contreras went back into the same courtroom to tell hearing master Patricia Donninger that her requests for a female marshal handle the search were ignored.
I think Id rather have a female in here and he went anyway. I was just offended by it. Im just offended that he asked me, Contreras told Donninger, who did not respond.
The video shows Marshal James Kenyon preparing to arrest Contreras. She can be heard pleading with him.
For what, sir? Why would I be arrested? Can you please tell me?
Thats when Fox chimed in, Because of false allegations made against a police officer.
KLAS says it could find no law to support the womans arrest.
It is also highly unlikely a sexual assault victim would be placed under arrest by the alleged assaulter, the station noted.
The marshals repeatedly tried to get Contreras to recant her story, but were unable to...

I'm a native Californian, born and raised for 40 years, been here for the last 13 years.
Yes, Nevada suffers the same fate as Cali...SF, SD, LA vs Reno and Las Vegas.
I wonder how an Electoral type election for States would work vis a vie the 17th Amendment?
Actually, I'd prefer to abolish the 17th but that's another conversation.
Nevada wasn’t always like that until it got kalifornicated. The funny thing about ex-Kalifornians is that when they move the first thing on there agenda is to try to make their new location like Kalifornia.
As I mentioned up thread, my mind is open on this one.
The title does not support what the video does, I agree it heavily edited though, that gives me doubt on both sides.
I’m just saying I want more facts to make up my mind with that’s all....but I’m leaning toward your side, your post makes sense.
True, but first, California got eastcoastinifacted.
The cancer has been spreading for a long, long time.
That looks like the same uniform that S__thead had on that shot that West Pointer in the Costco parking lot.
I was being facetious - but Washoe & Clark do comprise 80% of the state population.
There is a cop in Albany NY that raked up about $2 million legal settlements and was still on the job. A guy was giving him a hard time , so he pulled a guys pants down and gave him a rectal search on a crowded street. The guys a sadist.
But remember, they aren’t paid enough; and, there is a serious shortage of people out there seeking good pay, 20 year pensions and stellar benefit. /sarc
I can't attest to the accuracy of percentages, but I can tell you Washoe and Clark co.'s. are SEIU, Culinary and IBEW...and probably a few others I don't know about.
If she values her life, she better get the hell out of there. Before she has an “accident”.
Bureaucraps always defend the system upon which they depend. Consider it to “Trough Feeder Depends Behavior”.
The good news is that mother/daughter will be paid quite a large sum for the abuses heaped upon them by Mr. TroughFeeder and the Marsupial Magistrate.
Unfortunately for your contention, those two counties contained very nearly 90% of the population of NV, meaning that the political leanings of the rest of the state are comprehensively irrelevant.
Funny, I have the same contention and opinion regarding your posts.
Under what possible circumstances would it be appropriate to allow an officer who has been accused of sexual assault to be the sole person to determine that the accuser was making a “false accusation against a police officer” and then arrest her for that “crime”? Shouldn’t someone independent have first determined that her claim was false before arresting her? (Remember that the story states that her allegations were substantiated and the cop later fired.)
This was first reported by the local TV news station, not WND.
I hear a lot of that here, but the story is a Las Vegas Channel 8 story. Didn't you watch the video?
Moreover, the investigation did reveal that the ba$stard cop did conduct his illegal "drug search" on the woman, and he did have her arrested on a charge that does not exist in law.
You raise a lot of flags of doubt, but I am not sure why. Perhaps you were a victim of a false allegation from someone in the past and you are very leery of these sort of charges, but if you watch the video, her reaction is obvious - she was traumatized. She doesn't appear to by lying at all.
My comment was more directed toward the headline and part of the caption under the video “Video has just surfaced of Monica Contreras, who went to family court with her 2-year-old daughter in August 2011.”
Those two lines, to me, intimated that the event was captured on the video proving her claims.
I dunno, the video is heavily edited, maybe they removed the explicit parts to preserve her some dignity.
I happen to think she is telling the truth.
