So the claim that he broke his legs in Special Forces training is BS and that makes him a poseur. Well actually not even a poseur, he claimed to be training to be SF, so that makes him a poseur wannabe, or a wannabe poseur. I'm not real sure how the semantics of that work out. In Mr. Snowden's case, I think "douche-nozzle" covers all the semantic bases.

Is the IRS Lois Lerner to be trusted?
Did Clapper lie?
Do you think that SWCS can be trusted?
Do you think that any part of the federal gov’t - directly or in directly - can be trusted right now?
Do you think that a massive ad hominem attack against Snowden is possible, and/or a circling of the wagons, pro-Obama style?
To: WayneS
Maybe he is a Clapper wannabe and this version of events was his attempt at giving “the least untruthful version.”
To: WayneS
But is he lying about what's going on in the Obama Administration?
Don't you remember poor Linda Tripp and her arrest as a youth?
I don't give a damn about this man. All I want is his information. The concentration on him as a person is irrelevant.

I don’t really care about Snowden, I’m more concerned about our growing and oppressive government.

A dumb poseur. The military stores service records forever.

Is this just semantics? The article admits Snowden intented to enter a program for the special forces
"NSA leaker Ed Snowden claimed to have broken both of his legs while training for Special Forces. "
The article treats the above statement like "while training as part of the special forces". While Snowden could have meant "while training to get into Special Forces".

Maybe he got snookered into proposing to the ballerina/pole-dancer and figured this as a way out.

Exactly!
He’s brought attention to this and that’s a good thing.

But is he lying about what's going on in the Obama Administration? I don't know. But if he'll lie about one thing, it is more than likely he'll lie about others.

Broke his legs, how?

Unless you're Bill Clinton or John Kerry, in which case a mysterious fire breaks out in the warehouse.

“Snowden was never a student at SWCS.”
Is there any way his record (data) could have been altered?
I seem to remember a certain saudi national having his
documents and records altered my Napotlatano so he could
beat a hasty getaway.

Probably jump school. You have to be airborne qualified to be SF. That would have been the first step heading to SF training.

The article itself, rather, has a strong fragrance, something like `Essence of Demonization', say, from the office of the WH press secretary:

So in two weeks we know everything about Snowden - his truths and lies.......five years since obama was elected still we know nothing about obama’s past or his present and
ten+ years since he has actively been involved in politics and we know nothing.
