Update: Data-mining goes deeper than thought?
Its not just the number of requests, its the scope of them. Theyre not demanding records related to particular investigations anymore, theyre demanding huge troves of records on random Americans for data-mining purposes, the same thing Patriot Act co-author Jim Sensenbrenner complained about a few days ago but somehow didnt foresee in 2001.
If 100% increase results in twice the amount, does a 1000% increase amount to 20x or 11x? I’ll go with a sum total of 11x.
Graham has a credibility problem.
This administration has committed outright treason in using government agencies to target conservatives and political agenda opponents.
What protects us from any unscrupulous administration using this data?
It is pointedly obvious that those resources have been aimed at citizens rather than the stated goal.
Why else did they miss the Boston bombers and their ilk? They were warned twice by the Russians. How about Hassan? If they’re just watching terrorists, they would have been taken down before they went on their killing sprees.
No, they were too busy monitoring their conservative opposition. The war on terror excuse is patent bs. They simply can’t be trusted with this kind of power.
Something tells me they aren't fishing for radical mooselimb terrorists, but plain old Americans who might stand up to Zero, the media's selected boy-god-king.
They are the types who someday hope to have the power in their own hands. They are all for big government, but for different reasons. They want to find out if some guy used his credit card in a go go bar and haul him off to the joint.
I was on that thread earlier. Very disturbing.
I was thinking that myself. Do you think Obama does not have Demo operatives already in place at the NSA. When did a government agency become pure as the driven snow? Whats to stop a Demo operative from using his secret email account to alert the IRS that so and so donated to Romney. I know we have to fight terrorism but the cost is huge. Audits ruin people’s businesses and personal lives that is why it was so effective in delivering the election to the poser.
And not one FBI agent with a conscience among them. Not one who sees anything wrong with this.
Pretty clear that Obama, Holder, et al don’t care one witt about catching Islamist terrorists...his administration is using this horrible law to spy on his political opponents in order to extort, blackmail and instill abject fear of opposing their tyrannical regime.
Another thought: with Big Sis proclaiming anyone on the Right as a suspected potential terrorist threat, and with all the new and unknown (to us) laws Zero is creating (so that we are now all “lawbreakers”, allowing this information to leak (or maybe Zero leaked it himself) is to put on notice anyone who might be a whistleblower (”we’re watching you, all of you!”).
It’s worse than them not wanting to catch Mozlem terrorists; they want Mozlem terrorists to do their thing - they fund them, aid and abet them, and arm them.
Looking Back On 2012 Election Technology

Bingo!
Excellent point! Thanks for making it! Benghazi proves it.
Obama's government drunk swarms of agents are on steroids and discovered they need not flash-bang your door in with SWAT. They just enter thru your computer and phone back door and quietly sit and listen to you 24/7 while you have no fifth amendment protection.
Divide % by 100, so 1000% = times 10.00
Plus the original = 11 times, if they are being that precise.
So by Obama’s logic, the war on terror has decreased 1000% - yet the information requests have increased by 1000%.
Know what we call that folks?
Obama is a liar.
I dare any FReeper to support this tyranny and provide their full name.
Thanks for the QED!
Does CIA have our back? Can’t wait till more comes out
State hides embassy personnel sexually assaulting local guards
Retaliation 2 assaulted and murdered. They hide the initial info and blame it on a movie.
It’s all about sex!?!?!
